Web Maintenance Plans

There are No long term contracts to sign, and you are not obligated to sign up for another plan. This means that, unlike other web maintenance programs, you’re not locked in and paying for months on end for non-existent web maintenance.

Effectively maintaining a Website requires a fair amount of time and attention. If you fail to update your site chances are that the search engines will consider your site to be irrelevant, which can cause your rankings to fall. In addition, failing to update database programs such as WordPress can lead to server issues and/or your site getting hacked into.

If you’re not sure how many hours you’ll need, email your work order (in clear detail) and I will let you know the approximate number of hours that will be required. Most MINOR updates can be completed within 1 to 2 hours. If you know it’s just a few minor updates, simply select the number of hours below, send in your payment, and you will be placed in queue. All work orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Any additional time that goes beyond the number selected will be billable in 15 minute increments, at the selected hourly rate. (NOTE: An additional fee is added to All rush orders.)

Web Maintenance Includes:

  • Webpage Edits and Updates
  • Modifying Web or Product Pages (not involving any changes to the site’s navigation)
  • Optimizing Content for SEO
  • Installing Google Analytics
  • Basic Photo Editing
  • Uploading/Placing/Replacing new images or photos
  • Adding Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn images and links
  • Updating WordPress (and Plugins) to recent versions (Note: This is a MUST DO if you have a blog.)

Website Maintenance Limitations

Web Maintenance does not include additional work for services such as general internet orientation education, marketing consulting, Programming and/or Scripting beyond HTML, creating new pages within your website, helping you learn how to use your own webpage editor or blog, or technical support of any kind. If you need these additional services, please contact for such rates. The maintenance packages are only intended for editing or modifying; Not for redesign work.

Changes to Submitted Text

Please send us your finalized text, as a .doc file (with no special fonts or formatting). Time required to make substantive changes to client-submitted text after the web page has been constructed will be considered additional time.

Benefits of Using the Web Maintenance Plan

The benefit of pre-paying for a maintenance plan is that the hourly rate for spur of the moment maintenance and/or updates ranges between $90.00 – $120.00 an hour. By pre-ordering ahead of time (which allows for scheduling of all client work) that rate is greatly reduced. In addition, contracted maintenance is expedited and is typically completed within 24-48 hours, depending on the scope of the project.
