Regardless of the type of business you run, you have information that can contribute to the education of the marketplace. The question you need to ask yourself is, "How can I get that information out there?" If you would like to add short bits of information, or keep your clients up to date on a regular basis, adding a simple blog to your Website could, over time, generate significant traffic, additional credibility, and ultimately new customers. Make a decision to dedicate at least 45 minutes a day (or every other day) online, posting meaningful comments, providing answers to frequently asked questions, or posting industry news. Positioning yourself as an authority in your industry will drive solid traffic to your blog or Website. It's also a good idea to post on other topic-related message boards and/or blogs, providing a link back to your Website. By posting elsewhere on the Net, over time, you could develop an expert's reputation within your niche community while at the same time you're providing links back to your site (which makes excellent "spider food" for the search engines).

Most blogs can be designed to match the look and feel of your Website. Blogs can be interactive; it allows readers to post comments on your articles and posts, if you so desire.

SEO

Remember when stuffing a bunch of keywords on a page was the best way to get Web traffic? Well, those days are long gone. Now you need the right keyword phrases, placed on the right pages, and in the right order. Effective search engine optimization (SEO) can drive new visitors to your site, but you better make sure that they find exactly what they're looking for the second they click on that link or they will be off your site in about a nanosecond. Smart SEO copywriting tactics are a must these days, which means that if writing content is not your forté, hire a professional.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Meta-tags: Included with all new Web designs. Cost for SEO on an existing Website depends on the scope of the project. NOTE: SEO is not the same as SEM (Search Engine Marketing). We are not an SEM company.

Will we "submit your site to hundreds of search engines every week?" In a word; No. You don't need to be submitted to hundreds of search engines; Especially the dozens no one has ever heard of, or ever used. Or worse yet, end up having top rankings in the porn engines. You only need the ones that matter such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK. Once your site is indexed by the search engines, it stays there. You don't need to keep resubmitting. Of course, it may float around as algorithms change, but it isn't going to fall out of the index. We don't try to play games with the search engines, and we know what it takes to get rankings the honest way.

In addition to making sure all meta tags and keywords are in their proper place, and used to your best advantage, analytics can be set up on each page (on request) so that you can track your top content, top keywords and phrases, geographical location of your visitors, your ad campaigns, and more, all through Google Analytics.

NOTE: Due to the day-to-day fluctuations with search engine algorithms we make no claims or promises in regard to search engines and search engine placement and position.

Remember when stuffing a bunch of keywords on a page was the best way to get search rankings? Well, those days are long gone. In fact, search engines now frown upon such tactics.

With your keyword phrases in mind check to see if you're on message, on target, and providing your visitors with the exact information that they're looking for -- the reason they clicked on the link that brought them to your site. The main keyword phrases should be in all the Meta tags, and of more import, they need to be in your content, and in order or relevance.

Optimize a page for two or three search phrases, not dozens of them, and start with longer search strings, as opposed to singular words. Think of how you would Google something; how PEOPLE use search engines, and which keyword phrases they might use to find you. A lot of people tend to make the mistake of writing for search engines, as opposed to writing for the people doing the searching.

You don't need to spend a lot of time optimizing every page of your site. There are SEO best practices that you can apply to all pages, but you'll want to focus on the select few pages that bring in the most visitors to your site. (Note: If you're not using Google Analytics on your site, you should be... and if you have to ask, "What's that?" chances are it's not on your site.) Some of the pages you target for optimization may not necessarily be the top pages in your site architecture. The important thing is to make sure that your pages are highly relevant for some very specific search phrases.

What if you have no content on your site (i.e. Photographers and Florists)? Then you should considering setting up a Landing Page, either on or off your site. If you're using a Pay-Per-Click advertising campaign, then you may want the landing page off the site for tracking purposes. Either way, apply the same SEO strategies to your landing page, and be sure to include a very specific call to action.

We can set up a landing page for you and have it live on the Net in as little as one day.

Cost: $100.00 (includes Up To 3 images and an eNewsletter subscription box) - $250.00 (includes Up To 7 images an an eNewsletter subscription box) per page (There's an added charge for video installs, and contact forms).

A word about Flash Sites ...

Flash and multimedia development is time consuming and costly. If you feel this is essential to your site, we can do it. An estimated cost for a professionally designed custom Flash/Multimedia site can run from $3,500 to $40,000 (and more!), and take anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months to complete. Once done, Flash sites are not easy to maintain, or update... especially if the original designer is no longer available. This estimated cost does not include the HTML and CSS part of your site, or any other graphics and scripts that need to be done.

As opposed to having the entire site designed in Flash (which is not WAI compliant, or search engine friendly), an option would be to have a few Flash elements on your site; Photo Gallery, Media Gallery, floating/moving text, or a text scroll box.

A complete marketing package ...
