Perception is Everything
Your website is not your brand. It is, however, a major element of your brand and will often be your potential new clients/customers first impression of your business. Your website will be how people perceive you and your business.
In a study conducted by the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab, nearly half (46.1%) of the participants said that the website’s design and functionality was the number one criterion for discerning the credibility of the presented material and the company presenting it.
Founder of User Interface Engineering and research expert Jared M. Spool claims “brands are perceptions” and “brand elements, such as names, logos, tag lines, trademarks, and packaging, are shortcuts to those perceptions.” People are drawn towards brands they trust, which means that the design elements will directly affect your overall branding strategy.
Your website engages more prospects on a daily basis than an entire sales team possibly could.
Whether it’s a small personal website or a website for a multi-million dollar company, the goal is the same; Create visually appealing, easy-to-navigate, Mobile Responsive websites designed to fit your target audience and your budget!
1. As your Web Designer, it’s my job to make sure that you’re treated as if you have the only website on the planet, and that you are my only client. You need to know that even after we launch your new website, I will continue to be a voice of guidance and support… for as long as you want me to be.
2. Your website is an extension of your business, but creating your website shouldn’t create added stress in your life. Your web project will go as quickly, smoothly and painlessly as possible. Working on a website should be fun, easy, and not cause you to max out your credit cards.
3. I work hard to create websites that meet and exceed expectations, and let my passion and enthusiasm show through my work — but most of all, through customer service. I believe that if you are truly satisfied with my services I will never need to spend a dime on advertising. Thus far, I’ve never had to! I enjoy growing my business by word-of-mouth referrals from happy clients!
For well over 20 years, I’ve been involved with working on the Internet in one fashion or another; from managing large online communities , to teaching classes online, to designing websites (HTML, CSS, WordPress, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop).
It’s About YOU!
It is, after all, your Website; not our showcase.
What’s essential to us is that we remember that “working with you” means “working for you.” This does not mean that we will put whatever you want on your site, regardless of whether or not it will work, or how badly it looks. If something simply will not work, we’ll simply let you know – and will try to provide alternatives.
The overall look of your site is precisely how your customers, vendors, and others you do business with are going to perceive your professionalism within your industry. We don’t crank out websites like hamburgers or oil changes, which means that we don’t outsource your web project to other countries. While our clients are located across the U.S., all work is done right here in San Diego, CA. — with the exception of a Programmer in New York who is called upon from time to time to assist with a specific project.
Need someone to take care of your new website and help keep it fresh and up-to-date (or bring your current website up to date) so that you are always providing the best possible user experience on your company’s website? You have the option of selecting a Web Maintenance Plan without having to sign any long term contracts!

No Web Designer is an Island
We are legion!
I have the pleasure of working with Programmers, Graphic Artists, WordPress Plugin Developers, and countless numbers of tech support people with various Web Hosting companies. On any given day, and sometimes several times a day, I’m reaching out to one or more of my “support icons” for assistance with a project, or a problem on a server. Without such skilled and dedicated talent, websites wouldn’t be ever-changing, ever-evolving, and always improving! Though there are times I wish life on the internet would slow down…just a little.
